the thing about the trolls that fucking gets me is that you can tell that they do all care about and consider each other friends and fellow peers on some level, but because of the horrific way their society is structured around extreme violence, a survival of the fittest-based meritocracy, a hierarchical caste system, and a lack of encouragement of forming relationships outside those necessary to merit from the above, they struggle to meaningfully and sincerely express that if at all and suffer from dysfunctional and even abusive dynamics that make them predisposed to hurt each other more than they help each other because they simply have no idea of what kindness looks like, a risk that could be sigificantly reduced if they weren’t born and raised on a literal murder planet. it’s tragically horrific.
