I’ve been wondering this, but how do people…write so much fanfiction. Like, wordcount-wise. Cause, some fics are 300k or maybe even more than that. (I do know about that 3mil wc fic), and well, how? Cause i write a lot of fanfics, but to overwrite that much…is curious. I want to know!
It’s just time, effort and dedication. Like any hobby, when you spend more time on it, you have more to show for it.
Writing just happens to be a hobby where it’s easy to keep track of how much you’ve done.
Our own wordcount is in the low million-2 million range.
When we’re actively writing we average between 1k and 5k a day.
There was one day many years ago where we wrote 10k in one day. I don’t recommend it.
