Oh in my deviantart years, I was a big fan or anger x a oc that I had (yes, anger of inside out) and I was learning how to draw in that moment because I was 14 and I wasn’t used to draw and someone put me in a favourite list called “cringe art for a video” I don’t know if that person did the video with my drawing but now I remember that and I just laugh, oh also my inside out art ended in a cringe art book in wattpad. But now that I remember that, I prefer that more than what antis did to me in my selfshipping blog, just because I was positivity and made post about how aging up f/os is good.

At least “cringe compilations” and the like were honest about their bullying.
Back then, when someone wanted to bully, mock, threaten and harass you because you liked fiction they didn’t, they didn’t pretend they had the moral highground.
They were open about being fun hating, ableist, rage-filled bullying shitstains.
Now, because society has decided that mocking people for being “cringe” is bad, they have to dress up their bullying as somehow moral and good.
