The idea that “proshippers so not want people who are sex repulsed in any fandom” is a patently ridiculous strawman.
If anything, the ideals that proshippers stand for– proper tagging, the ability to filter and block content and people you don’t want to see– make fandom MORE accessible for sex repulsed people, not less.
You cannot dictate that people can only post content that makes you personally comfortable.
Sex repulsed people are valid and their comfort is important. But so are sexual people.
You cannot prioritize the comfort and access of one group over the other.
Eliminating all sexual content from public spaces and discussions is not neither desirable, nor possible.
Sexual people also require access to fandom.
The best solution for everyone is to tag and filter.
Also nobody has said that in order to be in fandom you have to be attracted to people. Ridiculous.

Just this year they yelled at me for “excluding people” and “being a gatekeeper” because I made a post on the correct definition of proship and how antis misuse it even when trying to get into proship discord servers. I kept trying to reason with them and bring up points and they ignored me in favor of repeating “language changes” over and over, so I got sick of it and told them I’d block them if they didn’t piss off. They then accused me of suicide baiting, called me an abuser and a gaslighter, blocked me, combed through my blog for posts to yell at me for knowing I couldn’t respond directly, and then proceeded to yell at my friends for making dash commentary. While also accusing one of them of being an abuser and claiming the other was supporting whatever bullying they claim to have suffered under.
They’re beyond reason and at this point I think they just want the drama and attention. Block and don’t engage. It’s not worth the effort or headache.
