Friends; how long should a celebrity and/or historical figure have been dead for before you *personally* stop feeling uncomfortable with fiction being written about them?

dead for at least 100 years

dead for more than 100 years

I’m never personally comfortable with fiction about historical figures.

If you’re curious about the context, I was thinking about Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra and trying to decide if I’d feel weird writing about them 😂 (I think I probably would feel weird 😅)
