Just so you know, the reason that Disney has chosen now to release a dreary, soul-less and ugly adaptation of Peter Pan is because the final copyright on the original stage play from 1904 is about to expire, and they want to reassert their dominance.

Disney does not own Peter Pan the story.

Disney does not own Peter Pan the character.

Disney does not own Tinker Bell the character.

Or any other Peter Pan related characters.

And come next year the Peter Pan stage play will be in the public domain in the US and you can legally do whatever you want with it.
