One of my biggest disappointments with Re6 is how they explained Jake’s existence as “oh his mom genuinely loved Albert but was abandonded” and not “they tried starting a second sample group of Project W kids and we have no idea how many is out there, but Jake is absolutely one of them” like that shit would have been amazing! And a great lead in for other games!
That would definitely have been a neat plot, anon!
I think it would have taken more backstory though, because the original project W were not related to one another.
I do also think that the reason they went with the backstory for Jake that they did was to show that he was part of the human and noble part of Wesker, rather than the tormented and science obsessed side.
