Seriously, how is it morally wrong to oppose censorship? Do you think people will stop at just horny thoughts? Why is horniness illegal? What is it about sex that makes it worse to depict than anything else in fiction? Do you really think people will stop here as soon as they’re allowed to ban whatever topic they don’t like?
Again, I ask; In what other context is this acceptable? If I fantasize about murdering a fictional character with no sexual intent whatsoever, nobody bats an eye, yet it’s somehow so different when sex is involved? Why is banning thoughts such a good idea? Don’t you realize what that sounds like? Do I need to spell it out for you?
I NEVER tried to claim that shipping discourse is the cause of censorship in real life. All I said was that if you advocate for censorship, you can’t complain when things you like get censored. That is literally it. Please stop putting words in my mouth.
