A ‘don’t get me involved in shipping discourse’ blog just reblogged a lot of my posts, and I’m really worried that a lot of their followers may be antis. Most of the time I’m fine with neutral shippers, since they tend to fall into “these ships squick me out, but I am anti harassment!”, but this one makes me nervous. Have you ever felt this way before? Am I just being, like, paranoid?
It’s understandable to be worried, but from experience the worst that is likely to happen is they attack the blog that reblogged from you for “reblogging from a proshipper.”
If you want to be extra safe though, you can turn off anons for a while.
Fancops thrive on attention for their harassment and if you just don’t answer them, they’ll usually go away an bother someone else.
