So our host used to do something similar as the anon writing letters to themselves. He would “be his own Dom”, including things like rules and bratting and punishments. Buuttt that changed when he learned that we’re a system and the part that he that was him being his own Dom was actually our gatekeeper. They still do D/s stuff but the host doesn’t consider it being his own Dom so much anymore. But overall i think it’s a lot of fun to start a silly little relationship with yourself! I’m not sure it would so much be considered selfship, cause I think that normally involves a character to ship yourself with. I think it should be called selfcest though and selfcest relationships are rad
