your f/o cares about you, you know. even if it feels hard to believe. they aren’t there out of pity, and they aren’t there out of obligation. they aren’t going to leave over one bad thing that happens–their care for you isn’t that fragile. i promise. you aren’t an annoyance, you aren’t too much or not enough, you aren’t too broken to deserve their affection. trust me, they want to care about you. you aren’t just an inconvenient thing they feel like they have to drag around.
you don’t need to be afraid of losing them. they’re not leaving, not now, not ever. you’re allowed to feel safe with them. and they want you to know that.
