Actually I’m 99% sure the book being talked about in this rb chain (https://ift.tt/Ba9SGgb) Is “It’s perfectly normal” by robie harris This is a sex education book for children that Republicans had a very very big fuss about a while back, it’s very informative & imo perfectly acceptable for children before & starting to go through puberty! But because it discusses masturbation & shows drawings of genitals in an educational manner everyone became extremely up in arms about it being pornography for children (despite everything being educational) It’s not a specifically queer book, (but I do think it discusses sexuality & gender,) but the main reason everyone was angry about it was because it suggested children might look at their genitals in a mirror & sometimes kids masturbate (both very true & neither are bad!) – problem shipper
Sounds like it could be either, and both are equally harmless and appropriate.
