I never considered hook and tinker bell! Which feels weird, since I was considering making my self insert a fairy lol. That sounds so cute!
I adore Hook x Tink!
There’s a moment in Peter Pan (2003) with Jason Isaccs that they share on screen together, sharing grief and anger, and this interaction always stuck out to me.

Both of them are emotionally iced out by Peter Pan, who they care deeply for (in opposite ways) while he cares nothing for either of them in the way they want.
Hook and Tink are also symbolically the “adults” of neverland, man and woman. Tink is the “whore” in the british mother/madonna/whore complex (Wendy is both mother and madonna).
So the two of them sort of fit together psycho-sexually and symbolically.
Hook is the adult man who rejects the “proper” adulthood of society– a pirate rather than a worker and a father.
Tink is the adult woman who rejects the “proper” adulthood of society– doing whatever she pleases rather than being a mother and a housekeeper.
