I’m not saying you should pirate books.
I’m not saying you shouldn’t pirate books.
But what I am saying is “If you want books to exist, stop pirating them” is a stupid fucking statement when people publish excellent, full length and complete works of fiction every day without the expectation of payment. Yes, fanfiction, but also plenty of original fiction.
if you mean “if you want authors to get paid for their work stop pirating books” say that.
Because people will write books whether you pay them to or not.
