Every time I see “Pedos die and go to hell on the internet” I take a moment to wonder if they actually mean pedos, or me, a teen that happens to have problematic ships. Then I feel really gross that I wondered that, like this discourse is somehow changing my stances on IRL pedophilia. That scare me, but the fact that it scares me makes me feel like I’m still a good person. Ignore this if you like, I just need a place to vent.
This anxiety you’re feeling is exactly what we mean when we say fancops are doing harm by trivializing real child molestation.
