Confession time: once I had someone who had proshippers DNI follow me. This person was in fandom with canonically dark content where 95% of fanbase are proshippers. I don’t have a DNI and they didn’t offend me anyhow so I felt meh to block them right of the bat. Making posts about antis following felt too direct. So I kept on making most problematic, non sensical, cringe shippy posts for hours so this person realizes I’m unhinged and would ship fork and spoon given a chance. Strangely that person didn’t appear to have caught a hint as they neither unfollowed nor blocked me
Sometimes “antis” are closeted proshippers with “proship dni” to appease their anti friends.
Sometimes antis are dense idiots who literally believe that proship means pedophile and won’t believe someone is proship until they say so.
