A proshipper is someone who, usually within a fandom, is okay with romantizing pedoph/llia, groom/ng, incest, beastial/ty, or other illegal or morally obscene relationships; such as including r/pe, and s/a.
Shipping fictional (or non fictional) adults with children, people with their siblings, animals with people, exe.
They often have a platform to express this love for these types of relationships, making fanart, sharing ideas, and writing fanfiction. (Including NSFW works as well).
The usage of a platform allows for these weird ideas to be spread throughout a community they’ve created for themselves. One that praises and romantizes gr//mers and p/dophilles.
Even if they focus on fictional characters, they get a twisted enjoyment out of seeing those types of relationships portrayed. And there in lies the issue. Proshipping only makes people more prone to accepting gr//ming or p/dophillia as normal- fictional or not.
