Re the “pedos die and go to hell on the internet” anon, this is why I will never shut up about calling child molesters what they are: child molesters, or child predators. It has nothing to do with attraction to children and everything to do with wanting to abuse power and cause harm to a child. Being a true “pedophile”- one who experiences attraction to children- does not necessarily mean they will act on those desires, and it is this exact attitude from fanpol and society in general towards thoughtcrime that prevents paraphilliacs from, ah, what was that phrase they’re so fond of? “Getting help”. It’s so fucking counterintuitive it’s frustrating. Sometimes it feels like the majority of these people just want an acceptable target to be violently bloodthirsty against.

Just like we try never to say “narcissist” or similar when we mean “abuser.”
Saying the one when you mean the other is ableism pure and simple.
