When you start a proship focused blog:
Follow proship accounts that you like. (If you want to you can follow people we reblog from or check the #proship tag).
Decide if you want to tackle discourse on your blog, or if you just want to vibe with proshippers and share fan content.
If you want to avoid discourse, I recommend preemptively blocking every anti you can find. Start with @/parasect. In fact block parasect even if you’re going to do discourse.
Follow proship tags like #proship #comship “#anti censorship” etc.
Don’t be afraid to reblog posts with your own additions, send asks off anon, comment on posts, and tag your own relevant posts as proship. The portion community welcomes and thrives on genuinely interacting with each other.
Buuut… Not everyone gets along. If there’s a proship blog that runs you the wrong way or you don’t want to see posts from, don’t be afraid to block them!
