I dunno if encouraging that fujoshi was the best move: of course I don’t think there’s anything inherently wrong w the term and there’s people who use it in a good way— but the fact that they literally said that (they think) “the terms originate from homophobia and transphobia, but like yes?? …I’m proud of it?” seems like a really weird thing to say and feels like they might be using those terms in a genuinely harmful way
Anon, I don’t think we need to criticize a queer teenager (the op of that post) for reclaiming homophobic slurs.
I support all queer people reclaiming homophobic slurs.
