Im sorry, you’re saying its a parents job to fix their child’s issues completely, with absolutely no responsibility on the kid to learn right from wrong or to learn or improve themself ??? It rlly saddens me to see you take this absolutely out of pocket take man. I don’t think I can stick around if you’re going to sit here and victim blame like that. If someone is getting beaten, it’s abuse full stop. We shouldn’t make exceptions just because you think parents should be able to change their children absolutely. They’re their own individuals with like ?? their own brains, and empathy, and cognitive thinking. Just because a parent tells a child “please don’t do that, it’s wrong and it hurts people.” doesn’t mean they will listen ??? There are also cases like the Richardson family murders, where a 12 year old girl murdered her parents after meeting a 23 year old man online. Whereas the whole family said she’d never fought with her parents or argued or struggled with them before. And you’re about to tell me that it’s physically impossible for her to abuse her parents because she’s 12 ? As if her parents had something to do with how she was manipulated by the 23 year old guy she was with, despite the fact they told her “you can’t date him, he’s 23 and also it’s dangerous.” Like. I know that’s an extreme example, but it’s still a relevant argument to make. Minors get easily manipulated by other people and their parents aren’t always at fault. Sometimes they try everything to steer them the right way. and even if they WERE shitty parents. Being abusive or neglectful doesn’t mean they deserve to be abused or beaten. That’s just. Such a wild thing to think FHGHF. like how can you be proship and hate proshippers abusing antis back but you think parents getting the shit beat out of them from their parents is justifiable if the parents were bad to them I just don’t get it.
