How is being against birth fldefects eugenics? I understand that aborting a pregnancy just because the baby has issues is a bad take (you didn’t choose this), but incest will always result in a child who, genetically, isn’t in good health. To me, it’s the difference between taking in a bird with a broken wing, and breaking that wing yourself because you like throwing rocks at birds. It’s like if you were fine with smoking while pregnant, or drinking. These are unnecessary risks to take for a child who didn’t ask to be born.
Seeking to prevent disabled people from being born is part of eugenics.
I don’t have the resources or the spoons to get deeper into the discussion than that, even including my own opinions on the subject.
