Summary: Otto comforts an exhausted Peter. (Drabble)

Otto had been distracted by the intensity of his work, and hadn’t heard Peter get up from the cot where he had been resting for the last several days.
Otto simply felt a warm weight against his back, and was surprised to find Peter leaning against him, putting his arms around him, and resting his chin on the crook of Otto’s neck.
Despite the unfamiliarity of the overly familiar gesture, Otto found himself returning it– wrapping one of his metal coils around Peter and pulling him closer.
He turned his head, and snaked a tendril under Peter’s chin.
“Poor creature…”
