From a DM conversation I will not be sharing. I was blocked immediately after this was sent which I wholeheartedly approve of, but it meant I couldn’t respond.
Because it’s fiction.
The answer is because it’s fiction.
Because all kinds of things happen in fiction that are not okay on real life.
It’s okay because its fiction and not real.
Hell sometimes the ‘bad thing’ in the fictional setting is kinda the end goal and point of the fictional media and content being made
Example: Vore and Inflation. Some characters are depicted as genuinely ‘DO NOT WANT’ just before being vored and/or inflated
And nobody gets weird about that stuff (Well okay, no, people do get ‘weird’ but they don’t turn around and preach about how Vore is ‘Normalizing’ Cannibalism or Inflation is ‘Fetishizing’ pool toys or the like)
I still genuinely do not get how some people will go “Yeah that fits the suspension of disbelief I have suspended over my head” for some things, and then others it’s like “NOPE, NOPE, THE SUSPENSION JUST DROPPED. ALL OVER MY HEAD, DOES NOT COMPUTE!” for everything else in fiction lol
