I’m learning about MUD (medically unrecognised disorders) and it just seems to be people creating terms for clusters of things that are already medically recognised and known about Though I might be being ignorant, I wondered what your opinion was
Please, please, please don’t ask us, especially me (😼🔪) what our opinion on this is, there will be a bar fight and someone will throw us out a window.
Our opinion–not on MUDs specifically but in general life– is that people have the right to define their identities however they want to define them, and other people are free to want to interact with those people or not based on those identities.
I/we have serious medical related, and practice-of-psychiatry related trauma and conditioning that renders us incapable of rationally discussing behavior through the lens of establishment defined disorder.
