Unpopular opinion, but do not tag as ship is not a reasonable request.
We might forget this due to how we talk in the tags so much, but tags are an organizational feature for the blog in question. They aren’t about the OP. Tagging something as ship and gushing about the ship in the tags have two different purposes and target audiences.
We also don’t know why the person in question tagged it as ship. Sure, they might ship it, but they also could be tagging it like that so a mutual could AVOID it. I know that if a mutual reblogged art of my NOTP that might be considered shippy, I’d want them to tag it so it gets blocked.
Lastly, it is easy to filter out reblogs with tags. I do it quite frequently! Nobody is forcing you to see the tags.
That being said, 90% of the people that do that are antis, so I block it when I see it.
