Everyone loves autistic people until they start showing actual symptoms of it such as stimming, infodumping, not making eye contact, meltdowns and having sensory problems. Then. They’re cringey, rude weirdoes that deserve to be bullied and should shut the fuck up. (Source: I grew up autistic and got demonized for my symptoms)

We grew up with many of the same symptoms and no idea we were autistic until we were long out of high school.
