the yancore posts reminded me of an idea of yandere, their best friend and the yandere’s crush. the best friend has been distracting the yandere so they won’t kidnap anyone but it doesn’t work this one time and the best friend is horrified. they’ll help the crush escape but have to find a reason for the yandere to let them go first and the best friend blurts ‘you can’t do this bc /i/ like them!’ and the yandere’s surprised, their best friend never showed interest in someone before! so the best friend has to get the crush out while not realizing they’re under a timer until the yandere goes ’…wait. this person isn’t allowed to take away /my/ best friend!!’ and try to kill their former crush lol
