I firmly believe there’s no such thing as a ‘bad’ emotion. Only hurtful actions stemming from fundamentally neutral and natural human feelings. The idea that every thought we have has some kind of moral weight is just not realistic. Putting all our effort into only thinking and feeling positive, palatable, ‘pure’ things is incredibly harmful to ourselves. Give yourself permission to feel the full range of emotions. It’s how you choose to act (or not act) on them that really matters
