I wonder if antis are aware that almost every single underage selfshipper, selfships with adult characters. Thus inevitably making their selfships proship, and I have yet to see an anti go “ wait a minute” – How did antis not fall apart yet? Because either the selfshipper ages themselves up which they see as bad, or keep their age and the age of the F/O the same, or age the F/O down to their own age which, I have seen, has been called proship and doesnt remove the fact that the child did, in fact, fall for an adult fictional character.
It’s the whole thing where antis make exceptions for anything that doesn’t make them, personally and specifically, uncomfortable.
I have seen antis against all of these things! Honestly the more consistent ones! 🤣
