Creators have the right not to look at or participate in fan work.
They do not have the right to dictate what fanwork gets to be created.
When you put out a work of fiction and art you do not get to control the reaction that your audience has to it.
That includes the horny reaction.

When you side with creators who try to police their fandoms you are siding with Anne Rice, Anne McCaffrey, and Disney against fandom.
