Genuinely, it feels more ableist to call yandere “demonized BPD” than to enjoy yandere content. The only inherent similarity BPD and yandere have is having a favorite person, but even then the way yandere have a favorite person is significantly different than that with BPD. This is coming from someone who has BPD and would consider themselves a yandere, if just for my f/os, but does not consider the two connected in the least.

Calling yandere tropes inherently “BPD” feels very ableist to me.
