Once you start dictating fandom you inevitably will get people afraid to create anything for it. Once you get lawyers involved you lose any freedom. Thats why Anne Rice was such a menace, why ao3 needs a TEAM of lawyers, and why people fucking celebrated when she died. (Rest in piss)
And here’s the actual deal, once you get big; your property will be used in ways you never imagined. You can request people not share nsfw with you and thats completely valid. You can request people tag things properly. But you cannot say ‘dont make x’ because this is the artistic equivalent of “your right to swing your fist ends at my nose” y’know?
