I’m definitely not the best person to ask about this but! Basically proship just means “ship and let ship” and that you don’t go out of your harass or attack people who ship things you don’t like, regardless of the content. You can find the content itself disgusting, gross, and even triggering, and thats alright!! That’s why blocking blogs and tags exist. Basically, its about curating your own experience and letting other people do the same, because what you personally find gross or triggering is not the same as what other people might find gross or triggering
I have friends who do/would find some of my ships gross and triggering! You know what I do? I don’t mention it around them and they’re fine.
Also “proshipping” is not a term, because that implies “proship” is a very when it very much is not. the “pro” doesn’t equal “prolematic” it just means “in favor of” the same way “anti” means “in against of”.
