Books and coffee because books are to symbolize school (where kids are) and coffee is to symbolize adults (because adults drink coffee)? That’s my guess
Wouldn’t a piece of candy, or a lollipop or another piece of iconography associated with children make more sense though?
I don’t see books and think of children at all, but perhaps that’s my own bias…
