You wanna know why I don’t have autism on my medical records?
This is why.
Its things like this were I’m sure it I got tested I would get a formal diagnosis, but what would that diagnosis cost me :/?
the trans health ban in missouri specifically mentions screening for autism before providing any sort of gender affirming care, because i guess they think autism causes kids to think they’re trans so if a kid does get diagnosed as autistic, they can withhold gender affirming care. happens to adults as well.
