I saw an anti in the CLAMP fandom and I’m just… Ah yes, CLAMP, the mangaka group known for such works as Card Captor Sakura, which has a relationship between a teacher and elementary school student, plus a healthy dose of cousins crushing on each other. Or Tokyo Babylon, which heavily focuses on another age gap relationship but this time with a lot more violence and a very strongly implied instance of mother/son incest. Or Clover where a character claims to sleep with the severed arm of the man he’s obsessed with and is probably stalking. Like I could go on and on, CLAMP loves their problematic content, it’s like their staple, so why would an anti want anything to do with this fandom at all? Yeah of course the ships are problematic, what did they expect?
Once again a clear case of fancops believing that they can consume problematic content in a “pure” and “critical” way, and that everyone else who likes that content is a “degenerate” “getting off to it”.
