Seeing the DBZ post gave me a flashback to when an anti harassed me for a headcanon. What was the headcanon? Aroace Goku. What reason did they have to harass me besides being an exclusionist? They self-shipped with Goku, therefore I offended them. I’m not joking about that last part, a personal headcanon that didn’t get in the way of their self-shipping, offended them. They felt justified to harass me and belittle my identity over a headcanon that had nothing to do with them.
Another case of fancops co-opting progressive language to use as a hammer against anyone who does things they don’t like.
