My nieces are watching my Jem DVDs, they’re up to “The Rock Fashion Book,” and I still LOVE “Off and Runnin’” so much.
Reasons:
The Misfits’ total confidence that they can match or excel a professionally designed and shot photobook by taking photos themselves, at an amusement park full of people who don’t know what they’re doing, and I know this is most likely a practical limitation of what could be asked of the animators but they each have only one outfit.
That this is happening because Pizzazz found the professional photographer they’d hired annoying and threw him off her private beach
That Stormer wants to kiss the teddy bear and Pizzazz snatches it off her out of sheer meanness (but also Stormer why)
The whole SONG, absolutely one of their best – I always love the Misfits’ songs that are simply about brazen self-confidence (like “Universal Appeal” and “I Am a Giant”)
“We may have our ups and downs, but we’re still better than the rest of the clowns” – the Misfits acknowledge being clowns, but superior clowns
The rollercoaster track shots! The movement and complexity! It’s so cool!
(My nephew is now doing the Robot to “Who Is She Anyway?”)
I mean it scarcely needs to be said but they all look really hot
