anyone have any advice/resources on how to write suspense?
Draw the scene out.
A) Create short, sharp paragraphs.
as if the narrative is creeping forward.
Hesitating with the reader.
B) Or really linger on every torrid detail, stretching the time between each revealed piece of information as your audience has to take in a large picture before they can digest which details are subtly wrong.
That’s my advice anyway!
