Every time I see someone saying things like “if you write about this or that, you want this in reality”, I can just laugh. I’m this kind of aromantic person who’s absolutely not interested in being in a romantic relationship and you’re telling me I want a gay romance because most of my fanfics contains gay romance XD I’m not denying there are aros who want or are in romantic relationships (because there are), I’m just not one of them. I simply find romance as an interesting concept and I like exploring the topic in fiction (+ shipping is funny).
So, that’s basically it. Existence of aros who are not interested in being involved in romance but like it in fiction, is simply destroying this “argument”.
