Adults like this YouTuber make minors think they’re “safe” since they’re against the “glorification of pedophilia”. Because antis have, in recent years, dropped all online safety and wariness of strangers, they blindly believe anyone who is “on their side” And it led to grooming cases often. So very often. Of course proshippers aren’t innocent either, but they have continuously called this problem out for years and antis still point fingers at others, ignore the problem, paint them as the bad guys and are lying about wanting to “protect” minors it’s scary that I’ve seen minors who are as young as 13 defending their adult friends who encourage them to ignore nsfw warnings/boundaries, to follow locked nsfw accounts, defend adults who share nsfw art either in DMs or publicly to “warn” them about “criminal” activity, who encourage them to interact with people they think are predators, finding excuses for it like “well if the media is for minors/if it involves sexualizing them, they should obviously comment on it!”, end up sharing poorly censored csam and still have the gall to call themselves nornal None of this is normal! And I’m worried for these kids because how brainwashed must they be to defend the obvious signs of something going VERY wrong!??? Please Minors, you can feel squicked out about anything, and I agree current online safety measures don’t protect you enough from nsfw, but you shouldn’t seek it out and any adult who encourages you to look it up or to find predators before they find you is not safe.
