“Proship” only exists because of antis.
Prior to a few years ago when a small group of people started calling themselves “antiship” and sending targeted harassment and threats to fans who created content they didn’t like, we didn’t need a label.
“Proship” has always been the default assumption– ship and let ship, don’t like; don’t read.
Then antis came along and forced us to come up with a term to define that stance.
