Alright I need some fucking help
You know how I said I had my endocrinology letter via the gender clinic approving the testosterone injections and telling my GP clinic to go ahead and start those? Yeah, my GP clinic is straight up refusing.
They’re saying I’m supposed to have the first one at “the administering hospital” meaning the fucking gender clinic in Nottingham I think?? Which has never been brought up even as a possibility by the gender clinic. They were very clear that once I had a letter from my endocrinologist the GP clinic is supposed to start handling it, and the endocrinologist letter explicitly tells them what the fuck they’re supposed to do.
But supposedly it “goes against their guidelines”
I am genuinely so fucking angry. They said they want to contact the gender clinic in Nottingham to get me an appointment there, in person, for the first injection, but I don’t even fucking know if that’s a thing they do and it’s going to take MONTHS to hear from them anyway because it always does
If any other UK trans people have experience with this shit can you please please talk to me or DM or something I am currently losing my entire mind

Fucking. Made us fill an online to form to get a call from a doctor “"at some point today”“
They sent us a text saying a pharmacist would call us two days from now instead. Which is nothing. So we came back in and they said they did that because they tried to call us and we didn’t pick up, which is 100% a lie. After some arguing, they gave us a doctor’s appointment for next week.
With a doctor we’ve already dealt with for other stuff and know is a massive asshole :/
We’re going to call the gender clinic tomorrow and the local LGBT centre to see if they have any advice. I feel like absolute shit and I’m honestly suicidal as hell right now. But doing our best.
