anti culture and cringe culture are so connected in my opinion. i’m an ex-anti, and when i was in anti spaces i found that if they didn’t like something “cringe” even if it wasn’t “problematic”, they would dig for ways to make it seem problematic because they don’t like it. hope that makes sense
Yes, many fancops just use “problematic” as a new way to dunk on things they don’t like, since they’re “not allowed” to call things “cringe” any more.
