I know this was from a bit back, but I feel the need to speak up for Alex Kister. I don’t think he thinks sex is terrible or anything like that. He was uncomfortable with fics shipping his character with a character his friend played. This guy is only 19 now and was only 17 when he started TMC and he never expected it to go viral or the kinds of attention a fandom would direct at him. Maybe I missed something (that’s genuine not sarcasm) but I mainly saw him make a pretty mild tweeting asking people not to do that. This is not the same as a developer making a game and then trying to control what people do with random characters.
I’ll be honest, the only things I know about The Mandela Catalogue/Alex Kister are the things I’ve been told on this blog.
