I really love Komaru and Toko as “best friends plus romance”; I love all the ways that they support and value each despite and becaue of the trauma they’ve both been through.
I love the ‘opposites attract’ odd couple nature of their relationship. I love that they shore up each other’s weaknesses and compliment each other’s strengths.
I love that Komaru makes Toko more casual and Toko makes Komaru think more deeply.
I love them so much.
