Before you offer a disabled person unsolicited advice, take a moment to consider that whatever suggestion you can come up with on the spot is likely to be something the person living with the disability has already considered and that it’s extremely condescending to assume that you’ll actually be telling us something we don’t know by quoting some surface level article you skimmed three years ago.
