Fun Fact! Ao3 comes with a default no incest tag.
Its called ‘gen’, and you can select it above where you enter the other tag next to m/m and f/f! Its meant to show that there’s no romance in your fic aside from maybe a quick note of so and so being a couple.
However, if you really don’t want people thinking your work is incest, there’s another thing you can do! You see, in addition to character tags, there’s relationship tags! The & tag symbolizes either a platonic or familial relationship, while the / tag symbolizes the two of them are getting it on. (or holding hands. Either works!)
If you tag a fic as BOTH gen and A & B, nobody will think the fic is incest! I hope this helps.
