Two Childhood Best Friends, Might kiss

Or when one childhood best friends seems to have an unrequited crush on the other.

• Character B leans in whenever Character A speaks, which drives them CRAZY. 
• Character A taking candid photos of Character B. Character B notices and poses for the next photo. 
• Alternatively, Character B taking a photo with Character A upon noticing. Character A tries their best to smile as their crush pulls them closer to get into frame.
• Character A doing little services for Character B, like giving them water, letting them borrow a pencil, or giving them a snack. 
• Character B doing Character A’s makeup. Bonus points if they haven’t done makeup at all/a lot, so they are making a ton of mistakes.
• Them having a vow to marry each other if they don’t get married at a certain age. 
• Character B saying fuck the vow and asking Character A to date them now.
• Practice kissing. I need say nothing else.
• Character B is very physically affectionate and hugs Character A all the time. Character A has to remind themselves not to melt into every hug and stay there. 
• People mistake the two for a couple, but Character B doesn’t jump to correct them. They do eventually, but oh they take their sweet, sweet time with it.
• Character B says outright that they like Character A and have been dropping hints for years.
